My father, Ricardo Gomez, is Mexican and my mother, Mandy Teefey (nee Cornett), half-Italian descent, was former stage actress. My parents divorced when he was five and was raised as an only child by my mother since. In 2006, my mother remarried Brian Teefey. According to a presentation on the Telethon 2009 all know I have family in Monterrey. My name is of course the singer hono Tex-Mex Selena Quintanilla.
